Tyler Campbell
Tyler is an Iowa native with a decade of political campaign, public affairs, and communications experience across the state, local, and federal levels.
Tyler specializes in issue advocacy, strategic communications, media relations, and coalition management. Tyler has led comprehensive public affairs and media campaigns throughout Iowa and the Midwest for clients in the agriculture, clean energy, healthcare, technology, and manufacturing sectors.
Tyler served as campaign manager for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig, organizing and helping secure his victory in 2018. Prior to that, he served as political director for Bill Northey, Iowa’s previous Secretary of Agriculture and USDA Undersecretary and has advised numerous candidates and organizations from the local to presidential level.
While not busy in the political arena, Tyler enjoys exploring Iowa’s outdoors, chasing pheasants and quail with his bird dogs Finn and Juni, and volunteering in the greater Des Moines community. Tyler serves on Iowa’s Credit Union Review Board and the National Agri-Marketing Association’s IA board.

Andrew Bates
A Chicago-area native, Andy has called Iowa home ever since he attended the University of Iowa from 2009-2013. He specializes in grassroots advocacy, public affairs, public relations, and media relations.
Prior to joining FIN Strategies, Andy worked as an account manager in Des Moines focusing on public affairs. From leading statewide grassroots campaigns raising awareness around wind energy tax credits to carrying out complex public affairs campaigns around biofuels and healthcare, he has helped clients and trade associations on issues ranging across many industries.
Andy has developed deep relationships with prominent reporters and media members earning valuable exposure for clients across all media platforms.
Andrew previously spent time clerking at the Iowa House of Representatives for Democratic Rep. Dennis Cohoon. He also served as regional field director for the League of Conservation Voters during the 2016 Iowa Caucuses and 2016 elections.
In his free time, Andrew stays active by enjoying Iowa’s outdoor recreational opportunities and volunteering with local nonprofits.
Nick Boeyink, Sr. Advisor
Nick is an Iowa native with a decade of political campaign, government affairs, public affairs, and public relations experience at the state, local, and federal levels.
He served as field director for Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds' historic 2018 campaign, allowing him to build special relationships with advocates, elected officials, and community leaders across the state. He followed the campaign by serving as a director in Governor Reynolds’ official office.
Following his roles in state government, Nick’s public affairs work in the private sector has included comprehensive statewide and national issue advocacy campaigns across a multitude of industries.
Among the many hats he wears as part of his portfolio, Nick serves as the executive director of the Iowa Conservative Energy Forum and the states director of a national clean fuels coalition where he provides leading strategy towards the development of energy policies at the state and federal level.
